Everything just worked, free wireless almost everywhere.
I found the train schedule information on travelchinaguide very useful; Tian Yuan Kui Hotel was really nice in Pingyao.
The great firewall of China blocked youtube, facebook, twitter, but not ssh.

Climbed the http://www.drachenwand-klettersteig.at/ with Rudy. Nice, not too hard, only the way down was very muddy and slippery.
