FPGA experiments?

Got nexys2 FPGA board from Digilent (under their academic program). Let's see if I get it to work (with Linux)...

holy cow, it works!

reading Andy Ross' post in comp.arch.fpga
(e.g. http://www.fpgarelated.com/usenet/fpga/show/83878-1.php) and following the instructions given in http://plausible.org/andy/nexys2prog.tar.gz, I managed to turn a LED on
